As a fresh dog trainer out working with all kinds of dogs, I find myself coming back to reactivity more and more. Reason being? Well, there are a ton of dogs and owners out in the world who are struggling with putting all the pieces together - or simply are avoiding their dogs’ problematic behaviors as the solution. Look, I get it. There is a whole lot of conflicting information on the internet and being paralyzed by what to do is a very real thing. But rest assured, the first step in the process is understanding what reactivity is and ways to spot it in your own dog or another.
